Sal,

I just wanted to thank y'all for the new TekLoc sheath for the Moran Featherweight. I picked up a couple of Morans with the new sheaths today. Very Impressive !
This new sheath offers so many different ways to carry the Moran. I love the quick release system for attaching it almost anything. Works great for attaching to your belt, pants, Shoulder Holster

, Military web gear...etc
Better than typical edge on the VG-10 blade...and we all know what a spydie "typical" edge is like!

This Spyder Bites!!!! Great Sheath for a Great Knife!

When someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown.
BUT,...it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm
and smack them upside the head. :)

Coool! The new Moran and sheath are out, eh... Time to check around. Or maybe wait til it becomes available through the BF blade of the month club.

Because the sheaths and TechLocs come from BladeTech, I'd bet the sheath is made from Concealex - even better!

Mike

Mike, It may be Concealex.... all I know is that it's one GREAT sheath! Maybe Sal can shead some light on it for us. What about it Sal?

thanx for the knid words. Re; the sheath,
Tim knows more about it than I do. Tim?

The Moran sheath consists of the following:
A. Two pieces .080 Stealth Black Concealex
B. Eight black brass eyelets
C.Eight additional TEK-LOK holes for multiple carry options as follows:
verticle,crossdraw,horizontal,inverted,SOB,
and you can always remove the TEK-LOK and carry as a neck knife using a light chain or cord. There is also an IWB attachment available through Blade-tech for $7.50
D.TEK-LOK - Injection molded of 33%
glass filled nylon.
Hope this helps!
Tim

Questions for Spyderco:

Is the new Moran to remain the same price as before?

How much for just the new sheath? I might pick one up the next time I send the Moran in for sharpening.

The concealx sheath sounds terrific. Here's a suggestion for the next Spyderco fixed blade:

Multi-carry tanto. Maybe a Bob Lum design. That would be SWEET!
