C'mon now, really, don't you guys think that beating the crap out of a knife and having it come out in one piece, and still be able to slice a tomato is a good thing? Yes, it might be a waste of perfectly good knife, but if you're selling them, isn't this to your benefit? Looking at cars (again) How many people own Volvos just because of their extensive safety record? I would easily buy any knife that I knew was well tested over one that was not (provided they were in the price range/quality areas). And look at Busse combat? Why does anyone care about the INFI steel? Because they beat the crap out of it, and it still keeps going and going and going. And think we all know how highly in demand the Busses are. And how many of you have bought Timexes because they "take a lickin' and keep on tickin'" HUH? I'm not argueing that some tests are silly, but the ones that can be measured, like lock strength are very valid. Anyway, enough ranting, have a good one.
