It weighs almost nothing and will never rust. The 72 Rockwell hardness carbidized edge is self sharpening on some materials.

Keep one in the car for emergencies
Leave one stashed in your pack because you'll never notice the weight
Have one on you, carry a fixed blade that weighs as much as pocket change

These are stonewashed for a tough finish!

Weight - 18 grams! Just over half an ounce...

Length - 6"
Blade length - just under 2.5" or about 6cm

6al4v Titanium with 72 RC Tungsten Carbide Edge

Chisel Grind with opposite microbevel - this is about the easiest grind there is to sharpen and makes the knife versatile too, you can use it right or left handed.

They come with a kydex sheath with removable hardware for ease of cleaning. The sheath is multi position teklok compatible and made from super slim .060" Kydex.

You can wrap them with paracord! It makes for a really light and comfortable handle plus it's fun to have any color knife you want.

The wrap is really easy to do. I'll do a tutorial on it soon, you just wrap, cross the cords, wrap then repeat.

Hey Daniel, I am interested in possibly buying one of these, but I am curious what specific abrasive media will be needed in order to sharpen the Tungsten Carbide edge?

They sharpen up with most any setup, a ceramic rod is great. Diamond is also good, stones and even hardware store sandpaper will do the trick. Just raise a burr by working the bevel then strop the burr off.

I used to think a separate setup was needed for Ti but I have used the same strop for almost every knife I have ever made. As far as stones/rods go just keep them clean as always.

It is really easy to work up a burr with Titanium and Carbide, just keep the burr small so it is easy to remove.

Stick to softer materials and abrasive materials and you may not even need to sharpen your Ti. The carbide makes a microscopic hacksaw like edge that just keeps on cutting.

Glad you're making more - I'm not going to say I've lost one of mine just yet, but I haven't been able to find it since mid-day yesterday.. Was wearing it on a dogtag chain as a very convenient necker for opening boxes as we unpack the house, at first I thought I set it down and wandered off but no amount of looking has turned it up. At this point it could have fallen into a box I repacked and set aside, it could have fallen into scrap packing paper and shoved into a box to be thrown out (dug through all of the ones from yesterday so unless I missed it I hope that one is ruled out), or it fell out as I was shuffling vehicles and is buried in the snow... The paracord fob I added to the end of the handle wrap is handy but also a liability at the same time, I've noticed it getting caught on things if I'm wearing the knife outside my shirt and it can get pulled out..

In any case, I like these so much - incredibly handy around the house, my 4 y/o niece calls it my "knife necklace" - that even if I find the missing one I think I'd like another (currently using my wife's, under threat of some kind of severe punishment if I lose hers too)!

Daniel, please add me to the list for the next batch if able!

Oh man, I really hope it turns up!

I just added you to my list. I have decided to make 50 more and have 9 currently in the works.

No need for a list by the way, in a couple of weeks I'll have some ready and will keep them in stock for a while.

Daniel! Will you have some Tanto Bpackers in this bunch?

Not yet, I'm making more of these before I do other versions... BIG backlog!

I sure want to, I love tantos. :D

I have two different Ti Tantos coming up in .25" you might know about, the one you designed and a Hartsfield inspired one! The wraps are epoxy soaked and they are ready for sheaths.
