Another chapter in the endless mystery of why bad things happen to good people.
I got word yesterday that Russ' shop had burned down the night before. I don't have a lot of details. Forging equip, machines and shop are mostly a complete loss. Hand tools, handle material and fit/finish tools were in the work room in the house.
Most thankfully, no-one was hurt - two-legged or four.
If you have an order with Russ he has probably been in contact with you by now. Ever the professional, his first concern was to make sure that his customers knew that the timing of future deliveries was uncertain.
But I wanted to let the community know as well.
