Well DHL "Express" finally delivered -after four weeks- and filled in my five-knife straight (3-4-5-6-7 the 9 is a discard:foot:).

The Basic-4 is actually 4 inches of blade edge and is very cool. I may have another on the way so I can use one.

The second picture shows the B6 and 4 with more "common":p Busse models.

Thanks to the US and Euro HOGS & Piglets that helped me out.

Very nice Tony! Congrats!

I still can't get over how beautiful that AD is.

Awesome collection!

Congrats on putting all those together and thanks for sharing!

Your going to have to build an addition for that fat collection:thumbup::thumbup:

I didn't know that a B4 even existed! Very nice size and gotta love the clip point.

I'll take the discard. :D

the Dmutt has got me going crazy for Busse Basic handled blades...
you have a fine collection there Tony

I would say "nice collection", but you and I both know that isn't the half of it. So... nice partial Busse collection!

Thanks for all the kind comments. Finding the Basics I have so far has bee fun and I hope to find some different ones like maybe a factory satin or the like.

Also comments like on_the_edge's and steelnut's make me wonder what all the Busses I have would look like if I got them out. I have not done that in a long time, maybe I'll do that today since my work day went down the drain waiting for some documents that I have just been told are not going to show until tomorrow at 10:00.:grumpy:

Tony,
I would love to see a pic of your collection. However, and I won't mention names, experience has shown that when someone does something like that, they are usually bombarded with "hey, how much would you sell ____ for?" So I guess you assume a little risk in doing so, but again, I think many of us here would like to see what you have in your closet (keeping in mind of course that this is a G-rated family forum :D ).

Aaahhh -- exquisite!!

Those B7s look extremely useful as well as classic collectables.

I'll be looking forward to the 'full Monte' pictures... :D

That B6 is larger than I expected and, I assume, you're looking for another B6 as well as a B4 to get that collection all paired up. Well done, sir. Pete

NICE collection of Basics Tony !!!!!!!

That B-4 is really cool.

and thanks for sharing ;):D

Great set, I too really like the looks of the B4. Kinda like the pre-cursor for the original Satin Jack or CPDABA. Which is another knife I really like

Tony,

Well, it sort of looks like you are Basicly COVERED.

Maybe add a Factory Satin or two and a Serrated?

Is the next step "Extreme Basics"?

Well I'm not sure if there were any differences from one Basic 6 to another or Basic 4 to another.

The reason people will collect two of the 3, 5, 7, and 9 is that the crinkle and smooth coated knives are more different than just the finish.

Unfortunately I can’t find anyone that knows if the Basic 4 and 6 distributed in Europe had similar difference as the 3.5.7.9.
