More Becker’s in Stainless

At the least 154cm. I’d take s35vn or elmax too. I’d really like a Necker.

so would a 14 or 16 -- but it would be difficult to get folks to pay a premium for the premium steel.
the BK24 was only $10-15 more than a 14 for D2 - but the sales figures didn't justify carrying 2 of the same knife, so when they ran out of D2, they ran out of 24's.

You're right; the 24 is more sought after now than when it was readily available - not unlike the beloved BK-15 ... which is another model that would benefit from stainless steel.

I would love some more D2 Beckers. Luckily I picked up several of the 24s, enough to last me forever. I also have the Ka-Bar 1461 spear point impact in D2. Absolutely love this blade. I’ve never had any more difficulty sharpening these than any other Becker but they certainly keep an edge. They will rust or discolor if not properly taken care of but only minor spotting. No big deal as these are all working blades and don’t get babied. I love KaBars D2 and would jump on anything released in it.

As long as we're reaching for stars KaBar's S35VN is also mighty nice too :D unfortunately like others have said upgrades is steel means upgrades in price. Proven most people aren't willing to go for it. I got to admit 1095CV is fine with me . It works Great and to me even looks better ;)

I think the market bares our that s35vn or other higher end stainless is a no-go. Too expensive and they’ll price themselves out.

That said, small premium for a simple stainless like AEB-L, which also happens to be a tough steel and darned bear perfect for outdoors use... yeah I’d be all over that.

I’ve been saying for years at this point that my dream Becker would be a BK14, but with the slightly longer Izula2 handle in AEB-L.

I’ll take it too. :)

you can get "extended" scales for an Izula fron TKC to give it the same handle length as an izzy 2 -- these can be made to fit a BK14 with minimal effort.
