Hey guys, you've already seen my other thread where I built a combo plastic & nylon belt loop on my BK14 but get a load of what I did over the weekend.
I found a pouch at EMS that perfectly fit over my BK14 factory sheath.
It has fold over velcro 'ears' that wrap around the sheath.
What I did to fix the sheath to the pouch was lined it up, melted some holes through the pouch. put eyelets in the pouch and Chicago screwed them together.
I didn't need to but I also stitched a small piece of webbing to the bottom of the pouch, melted 2 holes in it and Chicago screwed the pouch to the sheath at the bottom as well.
The pouch came with a thin little belt loop which I didn't think was tough enough so I removed it and replaced it with a heavy duty Scuba Webbing loop and stitched it in so that it fits snugly to my 1.5" riggers belt.
The pouch is divided into 2 compartments and fits a 2" X3" signal mirror and my cell phone perfectly. You could also put a lighter and sharpening stone in there or whatever else tickles your fancy.
Anyway, here's what it looks like-
When it's on my belt it just looks like a black nylon pouch. Very handy.
