These are all about the length of your thumb, give or take a knuckle...
I have been playing with these for nearly a month. They took much longer than I thought they would. The first batch had to be scrapped as they were a total failure.
There are 7 different kinds of woods used in these: redwood burl, box elder burl, amboyna burl, spalted maple burl, african black wood and desert ironwood. Thanks for looking...

strange little buggers, and id hate to have to build a shelter with one, but damn they are cute!

I haven't seen the word "siafu" in quite a while. Sounds much more romantic than "army ants", and is certainly fitting, in this case. Very nice pieces! What is the steel? Did you sell them?

thanks, they are 154cm and these are for sale, i'm keeping them for myself.

Thanks Tracey,

I've got some small pieces around, myself (I hate the word "scrap", I might find a use for such). Maybe they're destined to become part of the army themselves.:D That's a great use for small pieces laying around the shop, and we all have miscellaneous pieces of steel and handle matrial laying around.:)

boy some ppl will do anything to get rid of there cut offs:D :foot:
those are great something tells me you could make a swarm of those little buggers and sell them just as fast as you put them out:thumbup:
again nice work

I'm not smart enough to use cut off's like this. These cost me a big chunk of steel between the first failed batch and this one....but they were fun to make...
