Most of us young hogs have never even seen man of these ancient treasures. Ought to be worth a left nut at least, if not an arm and a leg.

Really nice blades !!!! !!!!
Can’t help with values before my time
But you don’t see any of those around much

What handles on that ffbm? Me like that and the shba lots. Would love to beat em silly. The others are very pretty as well. Market isn’t that good now unless someone is specifically looking for that blade . Good luck

The search button is pretty much your best bet at latest prices. But then again some still delete the prices. And with photo bucket (no pics) screwing everyone it’s hard to tell exactly what blade was for sell unless they worded description was spot on.

I believe the one you have listed as a Yard Hook is a Mini Mojo
(I think the Yard Hook is the essentially the Scrapyard/Res-C handled version of the same knife)

And I believe the one at the very bottom of the first post is a Badger of some type

Some killer blades though, few in particular I would love to have :)

My limited 2 cents...I own/have bought many of these knives...

I find that the old school ergos (old schools in general) have gone down in value with a newer crop of hogs coming in and all the new offerings ushering in a new wave of "icons".

I have my old school e's up....with prices still listed...

the ZTNOE should be less than .2 just by looking at it...unless it is a special kind of ZT - the ZT's were put out specifically at a thinner stock. I think the ZTNOE could go for $500-$700-ish depending, and that sheath is great....the NO-E's between $375-$500 depending...

The FFG MOJOS between $500-$700-ish depending...having sheaths is always a good thing for listing mid-to-high range to begin with...

C

Oh yeah - great knives!!!

The Ergos with the black checkered scales should be black paper by the looks at them...In my book, that increases their value over quilted micarta, and the polished/blasted spines have an appeal to me and are "more special" than the solid coats - just my 2 cents again...not sure about rarity on those factors given the endless variety of the original runs, and further "original runs" that came out over time based on what I know. Also, the slabs came in different variations of "fit" to the the tang on the earlier models.

Unfortunately, what many of the new blades having great argonomic designs, the older stuff hasn't gone up in value. It has gone down.

Here is some info about your knives, by the # in each photo.
227 - NO-E (Natural Outlaw Ergo)
230 - NO-E
3rd photo - NO-E w/ 2 sheaths (the nylon sheath on the right is a factory sheath)
225, 236 - PBF (Pure Bred Fighter)
237 - PBF Killer "B"
229 - BM-E (Battle Mistress Ergo)
231 w/ leather sheath - ZTNO (Zero Tolerance Natural Outlaw) (3/16" thick)
231 w/ kydex sheath - SHBA (Straight Handle Badger Attack)

234 - BM-E
235 - Battleguard
238 - ?
239 - FFBM

COPIUOS is correct about the ZTNO - it should be real close to 3/16" (.1875") thick; one of mine measured .190".

Regarding values, it is hard to say because few of the older ones are sold these days. A mint ZTNO with a Kenny Rowe sheath should bring a real nice price.

This is just my opinion, but in 16 years of collecting Busse knives, I still like the older ones the best. I carried an NO-E in my car for years - it fit between the console and my seat very well, and the asymmetrical edge on it was very sharp from the factory. I still have that NO-E, and likely will never sell it.

You have some great knives!

Bringing it Old School!

Your Battle Rat is properly called a Battle Guard. Guesstimate value of $275?

Good luck!

#234 is a BM-E, Battle Mistress Ergo. The edge looks to have been worked on? Is the swedge original or a mod? Maybe $350?

The Mojos are underappreciated lately, while highly sought out back in the day. Very versatile all-rounders. Not many sales recently to establish a baseline. That LE is beautiful and might command $600. It is at least as nice as the new Fusion Huck Fin, but is an LE with full height flat grind and factory satin. that ought to be worth something.

I assume that you have been watching the Exchange. Plenty of blades available now, not like it was 10+ years ago. Some sellers seem to have an inflated opinion of what their knives are worth, and are unwilling to adjust their prices down to what the current market will bear.

It isn't so much inflated prices as it is no history because people delete their sale price. So no one knows what anything is worth without trial and error. OP has some knives that are worth a good bit even today. The FBM being one. Those always sell well. I just sold one for $650 ish. Mine had the orange handles. I would put the 3 PBF's up as a set for $1200 starting price. I would put the mojo LE for 900 and the bead blast mojo for $650 ish. Those will go for sure. The ZT-NO with sheath maybe 600. The other NO-E's probably $450. They look mint and these prices are for mint ones. The last knife in original post is a well used SH Badger. That one is likely A2. I would say $350 - $
$400 for that one. Then the used BM-E maybe $350-375. The flame BM-E about the same. Honestly, I would hold onto the Ergo's for now. Their time may come, but right now with the knives coming out, the ergos are not on anyone's mind.
