more connecticuts (WIPs)

Keeping busy a bit to keep my mind off things. Did a bit of work this morning and tonight on a few Connecticuts.

This one is a no-name one I picked up for cheap. It will make a nice user for my axe trainings with the Forest Service (lots of folks bring axes that aren't appropriate to the work we are doing - so I bring a few users for people to try).



Collins Bonded. paid $45 for this which is much more than my usual but the handle was sweet and I was able to reuse it. It's got a great stamp on both the handle and the axe.

what's the brand on that handle?

Those turned out beautiful Coop :cool:

I lost a 'mint' Collins Bonded Connecticut on e bay a few weeks ago.
I mean that thing was nice!!! Original handle and all.
It was prolly for the best I guess, I really didn't have the $ anyway :(

Pegs, I have a very nice unmarked Connecticut. What I can't seem to find are good boy's axes. Hint, hint.
