So, dust off the scanners, fire up the digital cameras, dig out them JPG files and let's see some more nice custom pix!

Oh yeah, also I have seen lots of fabulous filework from many great makers, so I want to see some amazing filework too.

Paul, I thought I would never post in a thread of yours again; and I would like to point out that all of these knives were made according to the makers whim, not mine; but since you seem so desperately in need of a fix, and I am a helpful guy, I'll let you have a peek at these beauties

John Perry Bird and Trout (notice that the ironwood scales have also been worked for a seemless fit):

And lastly, three shots of a large Winkler friction folder with lots of file work, forged curls, and edge-grain damascus:

Paul, just signed up over here after you mentioned it the other night. Just wanted to say HEY. I'll do some digging and see what I can come up with as far a pics go.

Heres a couple for ya. The local news paper did an article on one of our own, Forumite Tracy Dotson. Personally, I don't think the article was long enough, it was just shy a half a page.<center><img src=http://members.aol.com/l6steel/dotson.jpg><center>

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

Great pics, guys!

Russ,
Does the handle on your Haslinger ever create hotspots when you're chopping?
