Here is another khukuri from the box that took the hit. It's an 18 inch Ak made and marked by Sanu so everybody knows just how good this khukuri is. Beautiful magic stone mirror finish and excellent fit. Hardness right where it should be. Karda and chakma great. The rig is 10/10 with these two exceptions.

The buttcap took a good hit and bent up at the backside just enough to knock about an eight inch chuck of wood out of the handle. Ten minutes with epoxy mixed with some wood dust should fix this.

The scabbard is too tight so it will need a little routing inside or else the water soak stretch fix. Frog is standard 100 year HI superfrog.

Nobody ever said Jim wasn't good. Nobody, never, ever, nohow.

He may be in denial, bathing with crocs, or in de cave, "hangin' out" with bats, but he is definately one of de good guys. His banter gives me just enough adrenaline to keep me in the "Timex" category.

If you have read the book, he was actually a nice guy, very efficient and intelligent. Although by the pics I would say this is much too pretty to be named after a guy.
