More Discontinued Cold Steel Sales @ Knifecenter.

The three inch tanto Voyagers, and the combo edge knives from the looks.

The three inch Hold Outs, and the serrated 1 and 2. I already have the serrated 1 and 2, I might look at the 3s.

The Counter Point 1, which I should probably grab one of since I do like the look of it.

Both models of the mini-Tuff Lite which is a shame, it's the knife I carry most often. I might grab a serrated version since I already have the plain edge.

I don't really like combo-edge knives, and I already have the XL Serrated Vaquero so no temptation there.

Some may be being discontinued because they're being replaced with new steel variants next year.
 
Has anyone confirmed these are discontinued, rather than just a sale at Knifecenter(they do that sometimes)? I'm pretty sure I still saw several of these in that 2015 catalog...
 
I see nothing in the Knifecenter ads to indicate they are discontinued, just on sale. The Voyagers, Counterpoints and Tuff Lites are all still listed on the CS website as usual, again no indication they are discontinued?
 
The best explanation for this sale is that 2014 is over halfway through. Most knife companies are working on getting their 2015 products ready now.

The prices are low enough that I believe that they are discontinued—I have seen this happen before. But it also could be an inventory overstock sale too.

One other reason is that serrated and part-serrated knives aren't as popular as they used to be too.
 
They are not discontinuing Voyagers. They are just liquidating the ever unpopular serrated overstock. The only Voyagers that are discontinued are the med and large Vaqueros.
