More Elmax?

Great idea. Couldn't agree more.:thumbsup:

I love my scrapmaxes - they get more use (in the kitchen) than all my other Bussekin combined.

Most Busse and Kin are field knives / combat knives / choppers - i.e. heavy-use-oriented, with thick blades and geometry. I think there's a lot of room for a second range of knives that are for kitchen / game processing, in elmax, with thin blades and slicey geometry. Paring knives, bird and trout, fillet, etc. At the moment if I want these things I go to makers other than the Busse family. This would open up a whole new range of blades to purchase from Busse and Kin.

I have been thinking about starting an ELMAX Chophouse thread. I looks like a Hudson Bay pattern which was made as a camp knife.
The forward weight and knuckle clearance on the Chophouse make for a great great cleaver, it’s still pretty light in hand and has great slicey geometry at .25”.
Infi would be great but for kitchen work ELMAX would be better :D
