I have been reading about Bronze Age cultures lately and it got me thinking about just how effective a knife or sword made from bronze would be.

How sharp? How "tough"? How durable. What could a bronze sword actually do in terms of cutting and stab bing? Will "it keel"?

Might be interesting to see what modern blade makers can do with tin and copper to make a knife . . .and what that knife can do.

A possible project for Forged In Fire!

They could be made plenty sharp, the problem was durability. They dulled, nicked and bent easier in combat. Skallgrim did a thing on it.
They were lethal, they killed plenty with them. Archeological finds of corpses with bronze arrowheads and other weapons stuck in them prove that.

Plus you can drop one into the Mediterranean or have it buried with you and it will still be good after a dozen or so centuries.
