More flea market madness

After everyone makes fun of me for getting my knives from the flea markets because they think I just buy gas station CCC stuff. That's most of the comments I get on facebook and even on here.

Well jokes on them. All the knives in the following pics were picked up on Monday Veterans day at the flea market. Totaling $18 dollars for all the four knives together.

I sold the red OTF and the Black balisong the following day for $70

And I had been after a frost cutlery "butterfly" knife for awhile. That one is getting added to the collection with the lucky charm Victorinox.

Nothing to be made fun of here. If you are having a good time, finding some new toys, and making a few extra dollars, kudos to you.

That SAK is worth the $18 by itself. Everything else is a bonus and you already made a profit. Nice job.

Then I'd be at a $52 dollar loss with no frost cutlery butterfly knife and no clover leaf SAK. That's not good economics.

Did you know you were going to be able to sell them for $70? Personally, I wouldn't have bothered. Those knives look to be beaten, and of poor quality, except for the SAC, itself a little rough. But hey, glad you made money.

The balisong is new never used. The Super automatic had a little wear to it. But yeah I knew exactly what they were when discovering them mixed in a inventory of CCC knives thanks to watching JWbullets over the years and his retro knives from the 80's.

I didn't know I would sell it for $70 but I knew enough knowledge that there was a spread for me. I also knew the butterfly knife is worth 50 bucks alone.

Like I say when it comes to collectibles knowledge is key or you have no clue WTF you're looking at.

Only in the sense that you flipped knives to them that aren't near worth what they paid. Not very ethical. Good job I guess....

Not really. Someone else had appraised the red super auto OTF at about $85. I sold it to the first offer I had. Like I say previously helps when you actually know what you're looking at.

Nah, those knives are trash. If you were able to convince someone otherwise, that's good for you. o_O

I didn't have to convince anyone, that's the market lol.

In fact I posted it to facebook asking the community to help value it.

The market spoke.

You really have backwards logic. How is it ripping them off when I asked them to determine value and took the first offer someone offered me,

Like a lot of your posts on here and responses in my posts I see are pretty ignorant. And you have the same few people always backing you lol. Hence referencing my first post.

Maybe go back to Facebook where people are more gullible.

I didn't say you were ripping anyone off. Your reading comprehension is as poor as your selection in knives. I candidly doubt you sold that trash for anywhere approaching $70 and if you did, well then you just took advantage of someone's ignorance. Collectibles? Nah, it's trash.

I don't know much about flea market trash knives, but I got a buddy who knows all about flea market trash, let me give him a call. LOL

And by buddy, I mean what's almost certainly a Facebook group full of kids, the kind of people who carry a screwdriver with a bunch of tape on the handle for "tactical grip".

What kind of knife groups are you in? And I wasn't referring to you. The person who bought it even said it was for nostalgic reasons. They told me why but I won't share their personal info publicly. The person was also far older then me.

What knife groups? You're here with me right now. Facebook knife groups in my experience are mostly echo chambers for this or that brand. I don't have the patience for that sort of thing anymore.
