So, when we got to Ethan's place, we were ushered into the Mancave and what did our eyes behold, the evolution of the Machax. The top blade is the bolo machete that sparked it all

Pretty neat, huh? You can see how it changed and evolved.

Next up, the tweeners. Yup, tweeners. I gots to hold them, fondle them, check them out. Here they come ladies and gents, but, that's not all of them, there is a CampTweener and a Clip point tweener. You'll have to wait to see those.

More to come. Moose

Here's a Puma White Hunter. Some of you may or may not know the story behind the Puma White Hunter, but, if the PWH had been a better knife, we might not have had Becker knives. Story goes like this, Ethan (12-13yrs old) saved up his money and went to a JEWELRY STORE and bought a knife just like this. With his hard earned money on the line, this knife was tested and found wanting. The seeds were sown for a GOOD, INEXPENSIVE knife that worked. DUH DUH DU DA DUM!!!! BKT.

Here's one of Ethan showing off this custom sheath made by E. Beckere, the German sheath maker

More of some of the knives that Ethan has around and about, most of which, in some way, sparked the designs or functions of the BKT line

I like the tweeners. Especially the 2nd from the left. The one that has the slight recurve in the belly. And the one to it's immediate right was kinda floatin' my boat too. Mikey likey. Mikey likey...a lot!

Looks like a great trip, hopefully we will hear more soon about the timeline of some of these goodies!

Between Christmas, and my knife addiction, photbusket don't get theirs right now. I just waiting, like a lion, ready to pounce. Who knows, maybe I will forgo the knives for some PB money. Yeah, right.

Yupper, I had to get winter rubber before a goody order myself......darn it. I love those tweeners.

The far right "tweener" is the one I WILL OWN! lol THat thing is exactly what I have been looking for.

This may have already been answered somewhere, but does anyone know if this are finalized designs, or will there still be some changes made?

These are NOT the final designs. There are at least 2 others, a CampTweener, and a Bowie clip point. The redesigns went back to the table a week ago, and then off to synthetics. These will be hush hush until the big Blade debut. I been on Toooj to let me field test them. If I do, and I can, I will post what I am allowed.

The one on the far right seemed to be the most versitile, but the CampTweener will rule the roost, trust me on that. For the clip lovers, you will love the Bowie, good classic lines, and tough as nails.

Thanks for the quick reply! Sounds/Looks like there is some VERY exciting stuff coming our way.

I'll take all three of these tweeners. Thanks.

Nice photos, I hope there's more to come. I love the story about that White Hunter, I even remember wanting the follow-up to that knife, the White Hunter II. Great stuff.

take care y'all.

Ethan, where's the April challenge? I'm really craving for some contest action, and of course I want to know who won the march challenge.
