Thanks for looking:)

I love them Haley especially the first one and really dig the way you did the spine on the second knife. Did you use pins on that second knife?

Haley,

Your knives look great you will do well. Lydia and I look forward to seeing both of you in Atlanta.

Referring to these pieces as "girly" is a little misleading, Haley...
They may be small in size and made by a good looking gal,
but look "manly" enough as those of any experienced knifemaker
out there... :D

See you next week!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

:eek:Wowzerz!! That Horizontal integral is incredible, the other also:thumbup:

Love both of em'. John took the word right out of my mouth, ELEGANT is the perfect description. I've been wanting to try the style of the second knife. Wish I was going to blade to check them out and pick your brain on the intricacies of construction.

Very nice. And, like Mike Q, I've been wanting to try the second style too. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks for all the encouragement guys, these integrals are really addicting! If anyone wants to pick a brain on the horizontal tang construction method they should talk to Sfreddo...after having made a couple of these I can't wait to talk to him about it at the show. They're ummmm...a giant pain! :)

I love them Haley especially the first one and really dig the way you did the spine on the second knife. Did you use pins on that second knife?

Thanks Mike, yes there are six hidden pins in this one, I've been toying with the idea of leaving them visible and domed for a studded look. I think it would be rather medeival but perhaps not as comfortable.

Scott and Lydia, We're looking forward to seeing you two and also checking out those knives of yours in person! The top knife is actually my first integral that I forged at the ABS school and finally got around to finishing, that was a fun two weeks!

See you soon,

-Haley

Very nice work. I really like the Blackwood with the domed pins, beautiful :)

Haley and Adam are power couple of knife making goodness!!
