okay guys one more handle question.

I am building a hidden tang stag handle.
There is a little play between the tang and
stag, is there something you pros use as
a filler and an adhesive.

I drill out as much of the pith in the stag as I can and fill the cavity with epoxy. I'm sure it will work to take up a little slop there. you might try grinding a couple of small notches in your tang with the slant pointing to the blade to further anchor your tang in the epoxy too.
