Two from Adners. We trade knife photos from time to time and I thought I'd show them here. These are collabs with Kaj Embretsen, he did the blades. First has an amber handle, that is cool! Second has a chunk of killer walrus ivory.

Wonder if he's got any bugs in the amber. That stuff is soft, I wonder how it will hold up.

Not into the designs but I know the work has to be quality. I like the walrus too.

that ring guard dagger is slick! Amber handled unit is pretty easy on the eyes too.

Very nice work by two fantastic knifemakers.

Another word that can be applied here is "different".

Kind regards,

Jos

Both are really nice, but the second one has the look of some of the San Francisco daggers that I find extremely appealing.

Thanks for posting, Don. Anders is never afraid to press his boundaries. Both of these do just that. Some will love them, some wont.

Cool stuff! (Is that a tooth from a Pteradactyl in that amber...?? ;)  )

Anders is so creative in his work. I always look forward to seeing his ideas and designs come to life. The sterling silver fittings on the amber stiletto piece are awesome. And, the ring guard dagger ain't bad, either. ;) :D

Thanks for sharing these, Don.
