Not a new topic but a lot of people still think all Bucks are made in China now...

the model number on the tang, which reads exactly BUCK / 310 n / U.S.A. It is in mint condition, unsharpened, still with some of its original oil on the pen blade. What we are not guessing about is that Bucks are no longer U.S. made; instead they are made in China, a situation that approaches blasphemy to our traditionalist mentality. Own this one for only $ 50.00

The 310 was made in the USA. Its not worth $50, if its mint maybe close but thats pushing the envlope.

Desoto, I have run into this mentality a few times. It is kind of sad, but I think people are so used to big companies
moving their production overseas that if they see one example of a product made overseas they assume they all are.
Non knife nuts may only own ,GASP ,one or two pocket knives. And I have seen dealers play on this misunderstang.

Being a born skeptic, I would suspect that the seller didn't really think all Bucks are made in China.......but instead was just lying to justify his high price.

Whatever the truth, it is sad to see such misinformation in print.

And slowly... misinformation becomes recognized by the unknowing... as commonly accepted fact.

Thanks for the heads up. They have updated their listing. Seems like a good guy...
