I know theres about a million of these threads but thought I'd post it anyway. Often times theres alot of talk when someone screws up but not enough praise when someone does something right, as in this case...
A friend of mine(not really a knife guy) and I were talking and ended up talking about knives since I'd shown him a few of my new acquistions. He said he'd had this little knife forever and really liked it but was having trouble getting it to open all the way. I asked him what it was and he said he didn't know and started to fish it out of his pocket. I was expecting to see some el-cheapo crap but instead he pulled out a beat up and well used Kershaw Chive. He started talking about not knowing when/where he got it and said he didn't even have the reciept. I told him not to worry, gave him Kershaw's web address and told him to contact Kershaw and I guaranteed that they would take care of him. He looked doubtful to say the least.
well, I saw him about 2 weeks later and he immediately started talking about how great Kershaw's CS was. He called them and told them his problem and a few days later they'd sent him 2-3 sets of all the parts he needed to fix his Chive right up. They even sent him one of the Kershaw keychain tools with the torx bits to take it apart!! Needless to say he was very impressed!!
Thanks again(on behalf of my friend) to Kershaw for the great CS! I think you've made him a Kershaw customer for life! :thumbup: :thumbup:
