here's a couple others finished up

5" blade 1084 dagger, balanced exactly at the end of the bolster
Black dovetailed bolsters with a very pretty piece of walnut scales and a little mosaic pin to set it off

205mm O1 Petty/Suji chef's knife
40mm tall at the heel
2mm thick at the heel, tapering to 1mm thick 1" back from the tip
really nicely figured Amboyna octagon handle with a Curly Koa ferrule and Black spacer with red accents
weighs 125 grams and balances right at the heel

bladeshow-2ndbatch-9.jpg

168mm O1 Petty chef's knife
34mm tall at the heel
2mm thick at the heel, tapering to 1mm thick 1" back from the tip
Maple Octagon handle with Cocobolo ferrule and Black and Red spacers
You can see where I offset the handle somewhat to allow for knuckle clearance on a board.

Please....... let me win the lottery before the Blade Show. I would have to build a kitchen worthy of those chef's. Awesome blades.

Beautiful blades Mr Fowler. This one in particular though is amazing. What a blade.

Thanks,

too bad a picture can't show you how light and thin it is, how well it flexs and how tapered the blade is.

you'll just have to come by the table and hold it...

If I make it I will certainly try to see it. I'm betting that it won't be there long though.

That 12" filet has a very nice form. You might want to make a few of those. I have a feeling they will sell fast.
