First I'd like to discuss a new feature I decided to try out in a couple of knives in this batch. I'm going to call it the Beuatymark pin. Its a random located pin, that doesn't fit the pattern. In the two knives today, I filled the hole with a 1/8" mosaic pin. But it could have been anything. Believe it or not I really did do this on purpose. LOL. I was thinking of Sophia Lauren when I drilled it.

This Hunter is for an order, paired up with the Ladyfinger that follows it!

I did one more Birthmark pin(ironically for another ordered set). Both knives were ordered 'guardless' a Bushie, and a Hunter.

This why I think you not taking orders is a good thing! When you are left to your own creativity you do a better job at coming up with great designs than most of us amateurs do. Love the beauty/birth mark idea.

Real pretty little Runt for an order.

This Scandi Hunter has absolutely the prettiest spalting on the steel I've gotten yet. The handle is ivory paper micarta over natural canvas micarta with natural canvas micarta pins and bullseye filler. I made a change to what the orderer wanted here (s2s), and I hope he likes it. Very unlikley I'll do another Scandi Hunter.

Man, this is what a Woodsman should look like. I wish this wasn't for an order. I'd keep it.

Andy, you may have a future in this business, after all.

Such lovely work. :)

I love that ivory micarta. The instant I saw it I flashed back to all those westerns where the "good guy" had a nickel finish peacemaker with ivory grips.

I'm very taken with that particular knife.

Gorgeous work as always, Mr. Roy. You are a craftsman.

I just love it when you post new batches! I just scroll back and forth up and down the page checking them all out over and over again. The more I look at the Hiking Buddy design the more I like it but I do have some concerns about Alayna's small hands (she's small built and small for her age just like her mother was) maybe she will grow a good bit over the next 6 months :) . Pretty sure she won't need a penetrator tip though...I have a tendency to tick her off at times :D

I had forgotten about those blanks that Rick did up. They looked really good when he showed them to me at Blade but man they look fantastic now!

I know they aren't, but it'd be awesome if one of these were available. Probably best that they aren't though, since I've been blowing all my pocket money on slip joint related tools and materials:cool: I finished up the bushing lap and the rise-n-fall indicator is at about 90%! I'll be done with #1 shortly:thumbup:

OMG you so suck. Taking no orders but throwing theses up. Bastard :) Great looking stuff

Wish I would have stopped and chatted with you at blade but there were to many people sucking up to you there. IE Mistwalker. lololololololololol just teasing

Shwing! I sure like seeing them.
Man you gotta do more of these.
What do you call that on the tang,a pig tail?Wow.
Coupled with your spalted steel & great handles & you've got a beautiful knife.
Not that your knives aren't beautiful Andy,
I just love the old world hand forged look of those babies.
I'll take a bushcraft karda with desert ironwood & a pig tail please.
Oh wait you're not taking custom orders any more, damn.
Oh well I can dream.:)

Oh my gosh, that Scandi Ivory Hunter is the most beautiful thing I've seen since my honeymoon!

If that buyer bails on that one, I'm SO on it!

That whole batch is just fantastic!

He's already accepted the knife! Sorry Matt!

I have a survival weekend at Amicalola Falls State Park and your Woodsman and Hunter will be used to catch the woods on fire.As long as the weather stays dry will be a fun weekend for all.Your new batch is top notch as usual and I would recommend your knives to other people.
Thanks,
Michael

If you were to do the handles like the runt with the combo on the hunter on a hiking buddy. You know combine these three. WOW!! Shoot me a PM b-4 you post it will you. Man what a beautiful batch this time (like always). PS that birthmark idea is pretty cool. Innovative.

Those all rock!
Man, I don't know if some people realize what a pita that ivory paper micarta is to work with. Impossible to keep clean and shows every scratch under 800 grit.
Fantastic job with that one , man. Much-o respect-o.
Iz
