To me, these look a little like a kuk with more thrusting ability (and less chopping ability) and a guard (yay!).

Hm. It'd be really great if some of these "new kuks" UB has requested from the kamis include guards!

My god, that's awesome. Are these good blades? From where I'm standing, this
looks about perfect for a one-handed sword (not that my 21" Chit need worry).
