I went for that "classic" kind of look. It's pretty amazing what you can do with a little digital help. ;)

Great pics! Let's see some more :D

I especially like the top one. It makes me want a 5" or so version even more.

Buzz! You have my compass! More pics, those are great! Can you do me a clear shot with the SJ on your flyjacket with rod in shot (**REQUEST**):D

Buzz,

Very Cool! Did you do this with your camera or with a program on your computer?

Adobe photoshop is a wonderous thing...;)

I am currently on the Busse website reading up on the SJ. I wonder if Jerry would change the fluted micarta for the same as on the NO etc? (more of a criss cross pattern)....

I took the picture with my junky little digital camera. You can get a surprisingly good picture out of almost any camera if the lighting is good enough. I then used Microsoft Image Composer to add a little style to the original picture. Image Composer is actually a very good program, and this is coming from a person who used Adobe Photoshop for five years in the printing industry.

I have a bunch of images yet to play with, and will do so over the next few days. I don’t know how long it will be before I can take new pictures. The weather forecast is saying something like 365 days of continual rain at this point. :(

This is the same predicament I'm in, wanted to get out and abuse a Busse this weekend and the weather looks questionable. :(

Cool pics Buzz!Hey what do you think about what Marbles is doin with their steel? What a bunch of BS!I know you like Marbles as do I ,it just makes me more and more appreciative of Busses steel.

What's happening at Marbles seems to be very unfortunate. I'll miss the awesome 52100 steel. I have absolutely no idea what Alchemite MC is, but it doesn't sound like my cup of tea. I very much prefer strength over stainlessness when it comes to medium/large knives. We already have enough stainless choices, without yet anohter bad compromise.
