:D :D :D

Every maker that comes here and posts pictures of their knives that is not a paying member could be accused of the same thing. As far as I know there is no rule against posting pictures of your knives as long as you don't advertise a price or state that they are for sale.

Thanks Keith, Your right... I did not state these were for sale, nor did I say how much they were because I didn't want to violate the rules. I was told I could post pictures of the Knife Pistols that I made here. I was wanting to show them off because I am very proud of them.

After reading the post by walking man it makes me want to find another forum to show them off instead of this one. I was actually thinking of paying to be a member so I could post in the for sale section. I'm not sure I want to do it here now that I read Walking Man's post.

Don't be put off, this is a great forum. Nothing happened here that should dissuade you from taking part more or from getting a Knifemaker Membership.

Your knife pistols are very interesting and you should be proud of them. I would love to see more of your stuff.

So, I checked out you web site and these knife pistols are all I could find. Do you make other knives as well?

Keith,

The Knife Pistol (Cut and Shoot) is the only thing we make. We tried to get a booth in Atlanta but all the tables are gone. I was hoping to catch someone that would share a table with us, but we haven't got a hold of our material supplier yet. We took one of our Knife Pistols to Blade magazine last week for some photos. They seemed pretty excited about it. I have 9 of the original anitque knife pistols, my first from my grandfather when I was a kid. I decided about 17 years ago that I was going to make some but didn't start making the parts until about 2 years ago.
The local newspaper was here today as well to do a story on them. As soon as it's published I'll post the link of their website so you can read it.
Thanks again for the compliments,
Ken Merriman

You should be proud of those :D They look great, I would like to get hands on one of those, to see how it felt in my hand. The look  though.

Ken,
Keep 'em coming please! If I can help with anything going on here just let me know.

Gus

It was great meeting you at the Blade show. Thanks for showing me your pistols. I think those two are going to be awesome when done! The thing that struck me was how inexpensive they are to buy and if a person wants to up grade with ivory, engraving and inlays these will be gorgeous.

Bruce, it was an honor and a pleasure meeting you as well. Fred is going to doll these two up for us and I have another I'm working on now. By the way, how's your project going?

I realize that this is an "old thread," but how does one access the photos and magazine article about Mr Merriman's knife-guns?
