Just finished this one up today. It is 120 layers of meteorite and 1080 steel over a core of 1095.

Blade length: 8 1/8 inches
overall: 13 inches
handle grip: stabilized juniper burl
Spacers: wrought iron, copper and malachite recon stone
Guard; wrought iron

Wow! Beautiful damascus. I really like seeing people use materials somewhat out of the ordinary.

It's a beautiful San Mai! And meteorite enchants people! I love the way you wisely combine all sort of materials to come out with a great knife :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Thank you all. I really enjoy working with the meteorite. I have a decent supply of this material. It is "scrap" from a meteorite cutting and polishing operation, and contains materials from Gibeon, Chinga and Henbury meteorites. The combination makes a Nickel content of about 9 or 10 % - really bright lines in the damascus.
