Would anyone be interested in seeing new models done in the smaller sizes
for EDC? I know the mini CQC-7's and Commanders are popular. I love mine. It would be cool to see models such as the CQC-12 or -13 (I'm going with a bowie theme here) done in 4" handles & 3" blades. I really like Emersons but for a lot of us the 3.90" blade models are just not practical for carrying around. Just a thought in case anyone from EKI ever reads this...

I want them to start making the CQC-7 Mini A model again without serrations. It is the smallest in the pocket and the blade is just about 3".

The only thing I've found even close in the CRK small Sebenza.

I personally prefer what I call "sub-4 club". The 8 andd the 15. if EKI would make a 3.9 of the UTCOM, SOCFK, super 7, bowie, we here in the midwest would be happy. Since most states here has a 4.0" limit, carrying a 3.9 is not a problem. And I dont think they are 'big knives" either. IMHO, I think they are just right.

Make em all 3.25" satin blades and I'd be broke but happy. Until then I'll have to leave most of the catalog alone.

then i'd be buying spyderco i suppose & i wouldnt be happy lol, dont make everybody have to make do with 3.25" just because ya live in a state with funky laws..........

Sorry SIFU, I meant the mini's, not all Emersons.

The worst part is I live 10 minutes from Indiana, where you can carry a friggin' machete in your pocket.

Here in Colorado there's a 3.5 in. blade limit so...
I'd like to see all the models offered in a mini version. ;)
