My name is Dale and I'm a moraholic!
I was running Saturday errands and made my way to my favorite local commercial fishing supply. I've been wanting to get a sheath for my Victorinox paring knife and that's where I got the Vic in the first place. Victorinox makes a cordura sheath with a plastic insert. The belt loop is actually a spring steel clip sewn into the cordura and it can just slip over your belt. If you wanted on that wouldn't slip off, it would be simple to sew this one shut. Add a lanyard and you have a nice little $9 neck knife. With the slip-on feature of the sheath, it can hang from a shirt pocket too.
So I got the sheath for $5.25 and, well, what the heck, since I was there, I thought I might as well pick up another paring knife. They've gone up a little-- $4.25 now
I made my way to the sales counter and that's where the trouble started: I was surrounded by moras. It was like trying to run an AA meeting at Jack Daniels-- I didn't have a chance in Hell in getting out of there without another mora-- or two.
The first temptress was in a display with red, green, blue and yellow handled moras with matching ambidextrous sheaths with snap straps to hold them in place. From what I could find, they are the Frost's 440 model. They have a clip point, stainless blade and a double guard. This one cost me $9.04US  I got a yellow one.
As I was waiting my turn, I found another one near the cash register. This one has a flourescent orange handle and a serrated stainless blade and is a Frost's model 761P (scroll way down) and ran $9.52. I'm not big on serrated blades, but at $10, this is going to make a good utility knife.
That's it-- I got out with my finances pretty much intact
