Hello All....as always, the NY Custom Show was fabulous, and meeting so many of you makes it special!!!! Special Forum Guests included Panzer075, Sky Masterson, Lifter4Him, 2Edge, PhilL, Paracelsus, Brian Hirsch, Adam A., and Donna Barnas (please forgive any spelling errors on the handles)

I have a few more pics to share, but would like to announce something exciting here as well.

There are some knives which did not make it to the table at all (Jerry and the Team REALLY supported me and sent multiple deliveries over the past few days) of which I will be sharing pictures here on the Forum...if you see one you like, drop me a note. Expect an exclusive post on the Forum about them on Monday afternoon.

Our special guest at the Busse Booth was none other than....

BLADECHUCKER!!!! A long time friend of Amy J's, BladeChucker worked the booth and specialized in helping demonstrate Busse Combat's new signature on the knives...when a customer held an E-handle close to their eye and looked through one of the fasteners, we had BladeChucker stand in front of the customer's view so that they would see her through the handle fastener...when the customer would turn the knife around to look through the other side of the fastener, BladeChucker turned around...only problem was that we couldn't guarantee that it would work when they took the knife home!!!

This was a GREAT laugh and everyone wanted to take BladeChucker home with their new Variant....they got a Kenny Rowe sheath instead

Thanks so much to ALL for coming out and having some GREAT fun at the NY Custom Show...see you next year!!!

Amy J makes a real good Sweet Tator Pie. I always new that gal was from the south.

Bladechucker is "some kind ah woman", kind of makes a guy want to move to New Jersey.

Those variants are nice. Just handling them is so much fun, then you got that INFI steel to boot. I'd drive back and buy a boxful if Bladechucker was part of the deal. Didn't want to pay that mortgage anyway.

I am sure yawl had a great time and thanks for pics. I know yawl had lots of "caw-fe".

Andy,
Those are some outstanding recurves pictured above. Thanks for posting.

Oh yeah, and the knives really look nice too.

Yeah, what Strabs said...and, uh, WOW

Beautiful grinds, nice blade catch, and a very graceful recurve. That's definately one of the coolest Busses I've seen.

Wish I could've been there to touch it. mmmmmmmmm.....

Andy,

Has anyone ever told you that you like the old G.I. Joe Adventure Team "Sea Adventurer"?

If not, you do!

Boy do I feel stupid. I did not notice before I posted my reply but.......

I just saw the G.I. Joe Thread posted 10/31/00. Well at least I am not the only one who noticed.

Well I must agree with Andy...the NY Custom Show WAS fabulous! It was fun to watch Andy in action - he really knows his knives and his enthusiasm was contagious!

And MTF3...it was so fun meeting you and seeing your Busse collection! Wow! I already miss your awesome sense of humor! You're right, Amy J. does make a "real good sweet tator pie"...but don't you mean sweet tator "pah"?

Help me out here. I'm new to the Busse forum and I think I just spotted what will be my first Busse. It's the one with the blade catch. What is it?

Steve

Steve, I believe that is one of those Busse Variants. They are nice. Talk to Andy "Phone-Rings-Every-30-Seconds" Prisco. He is the man when it comes to variants & the Busse Line.

BladeChucker, you sweet-thang you, I do believe you are right, it is "pah." I am still trying to fiqure out how to say, "Caw-Fe."

"Hey just bring me the left side of the menu and a glass of ice-tea, darling."
