Thank you for the nice comments everyone, I sure wish I had a truck load of this ironwood, its the prettiest piece I've seen in a long time.

Ray, I like Don's W-2, makes a great hamon line and a fantastic knife, but I still love 52100, its good to be able to have both.

Beautiful ironwood, Bill! Plus, very diplomatic steel answer. Sounds like a cutting competition might be in order? I have several of your 52100 blades...looks like a W2 will have to be next.

I like the swedge on this one. Anxious to see more W2 hammered and heated by you. :thumbup:
