I bought this one sometime in the 1970's simply because the stag was so handsome, and the fit and finish so precise and tight; I didn't really know at the time that it would turn out to be relatively collectible....I just liked looking at it and admired it for it's solid craftsmanship. I think you can still find the small 3" Bertram Canoe for sale from time to time.....this one is the regular size 3 5/8" which seems to be a more collectible, and they are going up in value. This is a VERY solid piece.
Great fit and finish....... WITH A SNAP THAT WOULD MAKE A FLORIDA GATOR JEALOUS WHEN OPENING AND CLOSING.

This Queen Tear Drop pattern in discontinued carved stag bone is as handsome as they come; the fit and finish on this one is exceptional. if you were looking for one traditional slippie for EDC this would be high up on my list.
