Namaste everybody. Here I am again with more good khukuris from the village at good prices. Please take a look.
First, the white spots in the picture Bill Jwai took are raindrops. It is sprinkling lightly here in Reno today but nothing like the monsoons of Nepal for which I am most thankful.
Here are some good village knives at good prices. The top three are simply village utility models. These are tough little knives that will do a good job at a very affordable price. Blades and handles both are very nicely finished for village khukuris and the scabbards are unusually good for village models. Kardas and chakmas leave a little to be desired but should work okay.
The bottom two are village renditions of the British Army Service and are very good, indeed, and I recommend them to those who would like a British Army Service model but cannot afford one. Scabbards are good but have single loop rather than standard military frog. Karda and chakma are not up to HI khukuri standards but are okay -- a little ugly.
Of course, I will guarantee all of these with standard HI guarantee -- handles and blades.
top -- 14 inches overall, about 3/8 thick and 1 & 7/8 inches wide. Weight 1lb 1oz.
Pala's special price: $50
second from top -- 13.5 long, 7/16 to 3/8 thick and two inches wide. Weight 1lb 2oz.
Has visable forging fold line -- horizontal -- but should never cause problem.
Pala's special price: $45 (very good buy if you don't mind ugly)
third from top -- 14 inches overall, about 3/8 thick and 1 & 7/8 wide. Weight 1lb 1 oz.
Pala's special price: $50
fourth from top and bottom -- Village model British Army Service style -- very nicely done -- 15 inches, about 3/8 thick, 1 & 1 & 3/4 wide, weight 1lb. 2oz.
Pala's special price: $55 (If you want a British Army Service but can't afford one get this.)
As usual, email or call Bill jwai if you are interested and dheri dhanyabad!
