Some may recall a recent post in which I referred to some dirty magazines I found in the garage.

Since it's been suggested those who hate US may mark the second anniversary of 9/11/01 in their own manner, I will leave my favorite XL Bible cover ( the blue one with the pictiure of an angel ) on my truck seat all day tomorrow in honor of those who lost their lives from then to now.

Tomorrow, that XL Bible cover will hold ten of those now cleaned and loaded 9mm IMI 25 round magazines. The other two can stay in the briefcase with another IMI product I can assemble quite rapidly.

I honor those who lost their lives. I don't plan on joining them.

Amen, brother. Hope you never have to assemble that IMI product. But, like a Boy Sprout, Be Prepared.

Brian

May all the souls of 9/11 rest in peace and may God watch over our troops in far off lands.

I have a close friend from Marietta Georgia. His name is Mac Ingram. He will be riding with me today. My Uncle Sam gave me permission. Hope that he and your IMI don't have to speak to anyone today. But if needed, to be there.

I will be riding my motorcycle with the Stars and Stripes flying.
Mr. Sig, my Swiss friend, will be riding with me.

Bill Ruger lives in my night stand and a small Russian guy, named Makarov, can be a heyll of a good side kick... but I practically live on campus so if need be I will put Mr. Bic and Mr. Benchmade into action until I can get home and tell my SKS about it.

I feel a little outmatched. Just some Sher in the wine rack - but I have a small house, so I can reach out and touch anyone in the same room. :o

Expecting a terrorist attack on your truck Rusty, or are you just preparing for your next doctor's visit?

Sorry to be a stick in the mud guys, but guns and knives are poor defense against the terrorist's weapon of choice. Stay away from soft targets today and keep your head on swivels.

Unfortunately, I think I work in a soft target. But it's so far down the list of desirable targets that foreign terrorists aren't a big worry. More to fear from a student or local who snaps than anything else. No reason to be less vigilant.

You can bet on that one. I'm far enough out in the sticks that I don't think I have much to worry about from the terrorists. But, I try to pay attention to what is going on around this part of the country any way. You never know what is liable to come your way.:)

Sarge, I live inside a one square mile area with the free world's largest ammo depot surrounding us on 3 sides. The 4th side is against the mountains.

It isn't a target, but rather is adjacent not to a soft area but to a fairly poorly protected resource that is a terrorist's dream.

Regarding Doctors, Ben, all I need is a post, a match, and a few gallons of gas with a lighter.

I also like to remind the good guys on this forum from time to time that a Bible cover, reinforced on the inside by the hard covers off an old hardback is a good way to carry discretely.

Not only do few folks even begin to suspect what's really inside, most folks turn and run away from what they assume is in there. Few folks care to be "witnessed to" or "evangelized" by true believers spouting memorized cant or dogma.

Thanks, Rusty. I have an Austrian friend, Fraulien Glock, who just might fit nicely in a Bible. That's a great idea.

Not into a Bible, though many of us remember a Western movie where one preacher pulled a SAA from a Bible just that way.

The bible covers I refer to are usually heavyweight cloth covered and zippered cases one can place a Bible into to protect the Bible itself. The insides have a place to tuck the Bible's front and back cover into so you can unzip the outside of the Bible cover I'm referring to and open the Bible without taking it out of the cover proper.

What I'm refering to is found in Christian bookstores or Walmart type places. I mention it because a pretty cover with a religious picture on the outside is almost the ultimate stealth carry.

A Postscript to the above post just occurred to me.

If one has the opportunity to afford a misguided lad the experience of a "Come to Jesus" moment and he by happenstance ( or God's Grace ) manages to survive it, he might very well experience a conversion of sorts, even one leading to eventually finding himself voluntarily on his knees being prayed over.

That would certainly be doing the Lord's work wouldn't it?

ROTFLMAO :D :D :D :D :D
