No, not really. There is this "peppermint" in the 1957 Sears catalog though:

I recently found this set matching yours stamped on the sheath "Sportset / Sargent". It came with the Imperial H-47BS (serrated scaler on spine) knife. So your set likely came to you correctly complete. The Sears set I showed does not have "Sargent" embossed on the sheath. Sargent was a... plier manufacturer.

I would suggest that Sears ordered an upscale version of the combo being sold by Sargent substituting a custom Schrade Walden knife during the same time period, late 1950's (1957 +/-).

Thanks for the investigative work Codger.I could never work out the relevance of the word Sargent under Sportset. I've got one of each of the above knives so can put in whichever.
I've been tied up lately with all these economic changes and have some interesting knives to 'show and tell' when I get a chance.......
as one wit from this forum <who shall remain nameless> told me today..its worse than any Divorce...he's halved his equity but, still has his wife!!....................Hoo Roo
