I just recently saw the Safe-T-Grip repros, namely the 146OT fillet and the 140OT Trail Boss, 167UH Fillet, 143OT Blade Runner. I must comment that the knockoffs of the Safe-T- Grip and X-Timer fixed blade patterns are likely to be of higher quality than those I have seen of the Old Timer fixed blade and folder patterns since there is virtually no hand fitting to be done, and the hidden tangs do not show. Very likely, the same molds were used as when these were produced by Imperial Schrade. And it is my understanding that the new X-Timer series is being produced by United Cutlery's Arrowhead plant here in the U.S. Steel type, grinds and tangs are the unknowns, and I am not going to buy examples to find out. If anyone has bought one of these, or any other TBLLC knives not yet reviewed, please do post a review. If you are shy about reviewing, someone on the forum will be glad to do it for you.
