Ok, I couldn't wait on the wife so I took these myself. Forgive the quality.

Thanks for putting up with an excited new owner. I owe you guys a thanks also, for the pics you have posted in the past that helped me decide on what I wanted.

Thanks very much for the additional pics - especially of the swedge and the double thumbstuds. I think I will send mine back now for a swedge, double thumbstuds, and my name engraved as well. I will only have one Sebenza ;) so I may as well go all out too.

Did you think about having your name engraved too?

Bucky

Glad the pics helped you. I did think about having my name engraved, but I thought that my little dude was enough. I didn't want to clutter the scales with my name AND a graphic. I have seen some pics on the forums with names engraved and it is a nice look. Maybe sombody will show theirs off. I havn't been able to put it down for long. This is one product that seems to live up to the hype, as far as fit and finish. I'm sure it will do the same when it comes to use. I must admit that I am a little afraid of taking it apart. I have taken apart some of my other knives, I just don't want to mess this one up. It seems so perfect. When I do take it apart, I think I will try the "sandwich build up" method. I love this knife and do enjoy the discussions here on the forums.

Gotta love the people that post here and then stick around to watch the thread and respond/answer questions - THANKS.:)

I was very, very afraid to take mine apart too, but it all goes back together perfectly so don't worry. Sandwich method works great, just leave the blade open a little when assembling.

You can have your name engraved on the opposite side, I think on the lock bar itself, so it won't really clutter the scales IMHO.

Bucky, I am glad to help. So many people on these forums have been so helpful to me that I am just glad I can help a little. Watching the threads has been fun, because of all the nice things you guys have said. I was afraid everyone would think it was stupid.

Medic1210, thanks for the help on the pics, they are in use now. Also, thanks for the info on the engraving.

Stjames, that is an interesting optical illusion. It almost looks like the name is embossed rather than engraved. Almost looks like it is on the handle, not engraved into the handle with a light source coming from the top right casting shadows to the bottom left of the letters.

Mike

Medic, nice observation, now it looks like the letters are raised half the time I look at the picture! Weird.
