I've found something else that is not easy, photography. The scratches on the blade were caused by me cutting some very thin metal package wrapping. I'm surprised the black stuff scratched, but just gives it character.
The carbon fiber doesn't dance like I thought it would. Looks a lot like G10.

Nice pics, the "scraches" though are more likley the metal from the packaging rubbing off on the blade.
 
Could you show a pic of that great knife in your hand.Just wondering about the size.

Very true. Try some soap and water and a wash towel and scrub the
blade pretty vigorously and see if the markings start to disappear.
 
I had some scratches like that on my full sized black Cyclone tanto.I used toothpaste to get them out.
 
Bah, it's a working knife. Leave those scratches alone, it gives the knife character like you said. :D

Great looking knife, one of the many on my list.
