Hey all. I lurk more than post in the summer but had the chance to play around with the 15 during school break. I had a plan but it all went south when I tried to freehand hex holes for the nuts. (picture painting the ceiling with nothing but your face and a trampoline) So adapt and overcome being the new plan; I made a rough outline rounded at the top, used a heat gun to melt a thin layer of wax over the nuts (giggity) and then used some epoxy with a little glow dust in it. The result is a solid glowing side but I can still remove the scales if I want. I had some extra purple / black g-10 that I was using to practice the hex holes and actually like the two tone look of it. My wife is fascinated by how the patina changes each time it's used so she has started using it for her "vegetable milking" or whatever it's called. Well enough babbling, on to the pic's.

Hope you all enjoyed the pic's.

Really like the 15 and what you've done with it.

Those handles turned out great. Nice work. Like the 2 bolt method. Oregon Faler started doing that with his creations a while back. I hear those hex holes are pain to get right. I have some whole made micarta I'd like to shape for a Becker sometime in the future when I can get access to the tools and a shop.

I love it, now you can find your knife in the dark! Getting a good patina going too. It looks like a great kitchen knife, I've got a 5 on the way for kitchen work but seeing your awesome 15 makes me think I should get a 15 too, just because :)

nice work on those scales!
did the bacon go in the juicer?

Nice work there! I was vacationing with friends over the weekend and one of the girls was trying to cut up fajitas with a crappy old knife. I said "try this one" and gave her my 15... now she wants one for Christmas :)
