Today the RWBTOJ (Red White and Blue Truck of Joy) arrived and dropped off my Desert MOFO. :)
I really like this knife. The new "Artillery Tan" Desert Coating is excellent, the new texture is really cool. And the "Raptor Scale" handle slabs are my favorite so far. The Desert Mofo is definitly a keeper.

I wasn't even on the list. I didn't see the offer until it was 10 min. old and I figured it was WAAAY to late by then. That is a great looking knife and it's in good company! Enjoy!
 
Now I am just waiting for the other Busses to arrive. :) A couple of more Desert Busses, my wayward Fatty, and some other odds and ends. :D :D

And here I thought Nick was a hardcore NO fan?Now that your gonna be packin that MOFO Nick just send me that desert tan outlaw,yknow for safe keepin and such!
 
Have no fear oh "Pouched Arborial One" my faithful Beater NO goes everywhere with me in the field. The MOJO will go in a safe deposit box if I deploy. it's a little big to hump around, besides I think the Sergeant Major would poop kittens if he saw me carrying it.
Maybe I could talk Jerry into doing me up a quick desert or beadblast refurb on the beater. Although it would be a shame to ruin all those wonderful abuse marks. :D

Nick, that is a super sweet pick up, that is the knife I feel I missed out on the most!

Nice pics! Plust I like that variant you have there, what's the story on that?
 
I just got home and found a box from Busse on my desk chair :eek: :eek: :cool: THE DESERT MOFO IS IN THE HOUSE!!! Mine doesn't have the top swedge grind like my satin Mefos do, but it does have a penetrator tip on it :D Very nice! That will give it a little extra chopping weight out at the end of the blade right over the recurve and the penetrator tip will allow easy insertion! SWEEEEEET!

If you have a sec, what kind of pack is that? Also, very cool hat. I'll bet I'd have to join up to get one, though, eh? :p :D
 
Yeah, I really love this MOJO. I thought from the pictures that it was going to be a lot bigger, Mistress size for some reason. This thing is really the right size for it's shape (if that makes any sense). The over all feel of the knife is great, it calls out to be used. I may have to get another MOJO model to beat on.

The Variant is my favorite Busse of all time, and not just because it is mine. The way this knife came about is I called the Shop needing an INFI fix and asking about a 1/4" Satin Jack. Jerry looked around an dsaid he had one left but it was slightly thicker than 1/4". I snapped it up. Then Jery asked the faitful question "Alright is there anything else I can do for you?" that's when I said "Well I have been pining after A NO variant." He then proceeds to tell me he has just started one and we talked for a little bit. As we were talking Jerry begins getting all excited and going on aout handles , finishes, etc. The result was the knife I have been picturing in my head for about two years now. And this was with very minimal input from me.
Let me tell you this thing is SHARP and feels great in my hand. I love it. Anyone wanting this knife WILL HAVE TO PRY IT FROM MY COLD FINGERS!! :D :p

Mine came with the swedge and no "Penetrator TIP".

The pack is a Eagle Industries R.A.I.D. pack in "Coyote Brown". These packs are available exclusivly through Lightfighter.com . The hat was issued me and I got the emboidery done at Camp Doha, Kuwait.
