Wanted to give a shoutout to Lostball for his very generous gift to me of a Schrade Walden TL-29, what makes this one special is it has a Bartlett Manufacturing blade etch, they are an Arborist supply company in Detroit MI. I have 2 other knives in my collection with that etch and Lostball thought this one belonged with them.
Jerome, thank you, your generosity is appreciated.

Real nice, and a generous gift.

I like my klien that's made as a rough and dirty working knife, but this thing just looks better.
Sometimes a touch of class however subtle is a good thing and this knife is a good thing.

Great gift Augie  to a well deserving recipient . Jerome very generous and thoughtful gesture. The character of the porch dwellers is truly unbelievable this was great to read on a Sunday morning it kind of sets the pace for the coming week.

Congrats, Augie! Those are some interesting knives!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks for sharing the story of your latest one, and kudos to Lostball Lostball for his generosity and thoughtfulness!! :):cool::thumbsup:
The tree service I've used for the 30+ years I've lived in West Michigan used to be a locally-owned outfit, but eventually their name changed to Bartlett Tree Service. I wonder if there's a connection to Augie's Detroit arborist supplier, and "my guy" got bought out by a bigger operation.

That is pretty neat to have the three of them, and an extremely generous gift!
