just got back from my second day at blade west. it was my first time at the show, and i thoroughly enjoyed seeing all that it had to offer.

first off, many thanks to idahoskunk for offering up the vip passes. it was nice to get in on his generosity. there were lot's off great knives, i've seen a lot of pictures on here of the production and variants, and it was great to actually get my hands on some of these gorgeous knives.

i was actually able to score a couple of the muddy mastiffs, a muddy rat and one of the ram's horn handled custom game wardens, which i got to handle, but that i'm going to have to wait to take possesion on. i've got to hand it to jerry - without taking anything away from the other goodies, that ram's horn warden is an outstanding piece of work. at least i can stop spending every free moment here on the exchange forum and ebay (at least until the funds are replenished).

i've been lurking here for a little while, looking at all the different busses and rats, and getting to know some of the people through their posts. it was nice to meet idahoskunk, 360joules (check out his website if you haven't already), and a couple others who i hope will accept my apologies for being horrible with names. i also was able to meet brian of okudan, my 4 year old hasn't stopped playing with the scrap piece of micarta that brian gave him.

great show, as those that made it will agree with. sorry i can't post pics right now of the new aquisitions, but there are pics of them in jerry's overganzaa posts.

thanks again to everyone at the booth, and to jerry,

Winston

Winston,

It was great meeting and talking with you. You scored some killer Rats and one sweet Hog! Post some pics when you get them all rounded up. (maybe one or two before then ;) )

:D :D

thanks for stopping by winston, sorry that 360 was to drunk to take care of you. he's in his room now with a bag of ice on his head.

nice scores on your blades

thank you :)

I have no idea what you're talking about...I used my Rat Shaker 1 and I have proof.

You're drinking again, aren't you?

That knife could be anybody's. :D

For the record...I do still have chunks of steak stuck in my sheath. :D

Alright, I've got to get to bed. My head is still spinning from that last minute purchase.

It's amazing how easily Skunk parted me from my money.

Now I have more of an identity crisis--I'm trying for dual citizenship.

Winston,

It was great meeting you and your son. I'm glad you got there in time to snag a RH GW. Jerry and Garth really did a bang up job on those.

I hope your finances recover quickly so you don't start suffering from new INFI withdrawl. That's a jonesin' you definately want to avoid. :D

YINT,
~Drew

We have AK's now...so that's "duel citizenship".
