This one was received last week along with the Elk 112 ...
I sent the Elk back to exchange for another one, but this one stayed here.
Is it perfect ? No. But it is a very nice knife with no real issues. Smooth, very crisp and solid lockup.
I think next week this one will be seeing a little time on the belt.
Sorry about the bad pics....

Dang, that's some pretty Ram. Mine's OK, but I sure wish it was more like yours.:grumpy:

Thanks Dave. She really comes to life outside in the sun.
I have to keep an eye on this one, my 12 year old son wants this one really bad.

33 and others,

Just a helpful hint......for you deck photographers, watch for (or get the family to) a WHITE umbrella, garage sales come to mind. Then you can cast your own shadow in bright light and get a whole bunch more light on your knife and not use the shade. Which means smaller F stop and sharper photo.....33's photo lets you kinda see how it might help to even the light out between shadow and bright sun.....his photo is good but the umbrella would just reduce human error....

I was in a hurry when I took the pics, they usually come out a little better

Looks great to me.
What makes it not "perfect"?

There really aren't any flaws or defects, I guess I am to much of a perfectionist to call anything "perfect" :D

The fit and finish is very good, blade fits good and was smooth out of the box and locks up very crisp... All in all I'm very happy with this one, and I don't think I could have asked for it to be any better

That is indeed a beauty! Now I want two 112 Rams. Where will it all end?

Thanks.... I don't know where it will end, but I'm sure there probably aren't to many of these left.
I really hadn't planned on buying anymore knives because work has been so slow the last few months, but I couldn't pass up a chance to get a couple of these while they were available
