More Rat Trap

I was sitting here fondeling the new Rat Trap and looking at the stats of various Rats on the Swampshack site. Mainly comparing blade types and lengths.

Then I pulled out the Coot and laid them side by side and had a surprise. The Rat Trap blade actully has more cutting edge than the Coot and is just a fraction shorter over all.

Just hadn't thought about that with it being a folder. Sure puts the size of the RT into a different perspective for me..

I had the same shock when I put mine in line with a Howling Rat. It's easy to forget how large the traps really are since they seem so little in the pocket.

The Trap is great. I'm wearing one now (shhhh, don't tell the rest of my office, they'd freak!).

You gotta love the coot too!

I've been EDCing mine for a while now and I love it. Yesterday I used it to slice up some tomatoes for lunch and then it cut some small branches off a tree in my yard.
One of the best purchases I've ever made!
