I got s ton more done today on two RF2's in progress.

Pics - Spotting Holes in CF Spacer - Tapping the Frame - Roughing in chamfers - Almost ready for heat treat

Thanks! Not a lot of pics but once I get going on folders... hard to stop! I'm wearing the gloves so i can handle my camera. My shop sink looks suspiciously like a bottle of windex... :D

That's a flex-shaft or Foredom tool and carbide burr. This is the first time I have used it on the folders, I usually do this with a half-round file. The Foredom moves fast which is good and bad... but I'm getting better with it. lol I told my dentist he should get one, he'd be pretty good with it!

Tip - if you ever have a fixed blade handle pin hole that is a bit off and your steel is already hardened... use a burr to enlarge the hole in the direction you want. I used to do this in my drill press but a dremel or flex shaft is much better.

I originally bought mine for carving stones and jewelry/lapidary but it is starting to get more and more use in the shop.
