I'm liking this one more and more as I handle and use it.

After a wipe down with a Mr. Clean pad (the best way to clean up satin or double cut).

Here's how I like the tiger hide. After it's been oiled and then used a while, it still retains some of the darker coloration, but the lines and depth begin to show back up. A nice balance between the lighter scales and the darker oiled scales.

These things really are like magic.

Yeah they are, I've never used them on steel but around the house any type of mark on practically any surface comes right out. Especially painted walls, love the magic eraser.

I use the magic eraser to clean up my knives too. Works great. Especially with tougher stuff like sap/pitch from chopping.

Don't know. Never tried WD on a knife blade.

Does WD-40 darken micarta scales?

WD-40 works very well with CRK one-piece knives. It will also darker the micarta but washes off with soap and water and a good scrubb'n.:D

Happy Easter,

Jules

i keep a box of magic erasers on the back of my toilet, they really work well for a slick clean up!

Wow...my hat's off to you, not just for using a SAR4 LE, but also the fact that it's #5. That one had safe queen written all over it. I bought three of them and my low number is 24. Whichever get used, it won't be that one.
