My Paramedic partner at work had his brother-in-law down to help him and his wife move into their new house. When sending him back to Texas on Greyhound with 2 1 liter bottles of water (It was a 36 hr trip), the driver tried to keep him from carrying the water with him. When questioned why not, the reply was, "he could use it as a weapon" My jaw dropped as I'm sure all their's did regarding this statement. The driver was quickly told he was full of $hit, and he had no legal basis for keeping the water off the bus. He eventually said that people leave the empty bottles on the bus and it is something he had to clean up, and he didn't like it. The driver was again politely told that he would be letting him carry the water on the bus, and that was that. Is this not rediculous?
