More "Server Too Busy" Messages

Been getting these more frequently again. Anybody else?
 
I really hate getting one server too busy error after another when I have a spammer in the crosshairs. It's like trigger creep that lasts five minutes. :mad:

Yes, or extremely slow loading when it does load. But not consistently bad, just enough to be a pain in the (word not allowed here).

Haven't run into the problem in the last couple of days, but there have been times that I have not been able to get on the forum for 10 to 15 minutes.
 
Yep, it's been more frequent of late. Getting to be a pretty popular place, this Bladeforums...
 
Guess it's time to prune some forums.
 
Maybe usually, but I got one today and about 4 SO SLOOOOOW loading new pages just today. A couple on replies, one on new search, one on going to read new thread in Traditional.

I've noticed it only does it when there are more than 1050 users online.
Happened today for about 10 minutes.

I have the server techs looking at this right now.
 
Something good has been happening, no busy server messages for a few days now,

Me thinks Cougar is doing it, I heard he has 100 computers automatically doing F5 refreshes every 5 seconds. But Only when he tires of killing spammers, that keeps them out and he can get some rest. :D:D
