More shiny Kershaw

Well, after having some fun with my old Vapor II, I decided to do Frankenlab work with some Leeks and did a little more polishing as well. I started out with a standard 1660ST and a 1660CKT all black Leek and did a blade and clip swap. But I also thought the black blade and clip would look a little better if the Leek turned out to be black and silver as opposed to just black and grey.

You really like polishing them Kershaws, don't you? I wondered how a composite blade would look if somebody polished the entire blade to uniformity, but I'm not doing mine after that vinegar etch. Makes no sense to make the blade darker and then polish it all LOL.

I polished one CB blade down from the factory and the steel colors were just slightly different. Then I darkened it again because thats more pimp.

i'm partial to a brushed or satin finish (polish) as well. I especially think blades should reflect like metal. I understand the practicality of bead blast, and I even carry one, but i prefer traditional.

Honestly, I forgot all about the transaction and tomorrow until you mentioned it. I still plan on being there. Bring whatever you don't want; I don't want to trade you out of something you really like just because I have something that you don't. I'll also bring some Moras for you.
